Asbestos Records is a proud sponsor again of Gainesville Florida’s FEST . Asbestos Records artists Bomb the Music Industry!, The Emotron, and O Pioneers!!! have all been asked back this year, and we couldn’t be happier to see all our friends from around the country again and party for 3 nights in Florida.. Nicole & Simone Oliva (vocalists from Tip the Van) are on the road providing the female vocals for all of Big D’s new songs on this years Warped Tour… you can follow the madness on their blog here . Also their full length, “Something Wicked” is back in print, and you’ll be able to get that on Interpunk, CDBaby, and from the band in the coming weeks.

Here’s the cover artwork from our next release, Omaha, Nebraska’s The Heat Machine. Todd from Teaessare.com came through with an extremely retro looking cover, based on some old dance albums we stumbled upon online. The album will be available in a couple weeks, and you can catch the band currently on their east coast/midwest tour. You can preview a couple tracks here

To everyone who preordered copies of the vinyl release of ZVR, we shipped about half of them today, and the other half will go tommorow.. Interpunk.com & Vinyl Collective will have them shortly as well or if you happen to live in the Northeast you can pick up copies at the band’s last ever NJ show on July 10th. We still have a small amount of the collectors editions sets left… so act fast if you want one!
